How to set-up
What you need
1 x Real Grass Puppy Potty
1 x Piece of turf (depending on your potty size, see more info here)
1 x 25L bag of potting mix soil (two bags for Large or X-Large potties).
1 x Roll of Plastic Potty Liner
Step 1
Lay some plastic potty liner on the bottom of your potty and cut it to size using some scissors. Leave enough plastic so it comes up over the edges; this will make it easy to grab onto when and if you need to remove or change the grass in the future.
Step 2
To allow drainage; cut some slits vertically along the potty liner where the gaps are in between the slats of timber that form the base of the potty (if you do not want to allow drainage, skip this step).
Step 3
Fill/cover the base of your potty with potting mix soil, about an inch deep.
Step 4
Simply lay your grass strip on top of your bed of potting mix soil.
Step 5
Generously water/soak your new puppy potty to help bed the turf into the soil.
