Turf guide
You can use any turf in our potties, from any supplier, of any size, however we make these recommendations on turf available from Bunnings as per each state. You can of course choose alternative size potties aside from our recommendation, by trimming the turf to fit whichever potty you prefer. This is easily done using garden scissors or secateurs.
All our recommendations are based off what size turf Bunnings consistently sell in each state, as well as from customer feedback.

Australian Capital Territory
Due to the unique climate in ACT, Bunnings sometimes have a slow supply of turf in the colder months. Kindly note that ‘CanTurf’ supply turf all year, even in the colder months, if you are seeking an alternative to Bunnings.

FAQ
Why can't I find the turf online?
Turf is a live plant and without soil it will eventually die. With this in mind, Bunnings stores do not offer online purchasing, unless ordering in bulk.
Individual pieces are sold in-store in their nurseries and to keep it fresh, they have it delivered once or twice a week. We recommend calling the store beforehand to check stock levels or time when the next delivery is.
What other factors should I consider when choosing a size?
The most important factors to consider when purchasing your Real Grass Puppy Potty are:
- How much space is available for your potty.
- How big or small your dog is.
- How many dogs will be using the potty.
- How often your dogs will use the potty (verses doing their business during walks).
- Whether you are happy to trim the turf to fit smaller potties, or whether you’d prefer a more precise / easier fit.
I live in the ACT and Bunnings have a slow supply of turf in the winter due to our climate. Can I get turf anywhere else?
Yes, many of our ACT customers during winter use another supplier called ‘CanTurf’, who supply turf all year round, even in the colder months.
